Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips announce side-project Electric Würms

Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips have announced a six-song album, titled Musik, Die Shwer Zu Twerk as a side project called Electric Würms. Musik, Die Shwer Zu Twerk will be released on August 19th via Warner Bros. The album's first single, a cover of Yes' "Heart of the Sunrise" is already available on iTunes.

Electric Würms will feature Steven Drozd on vocals, guitar and keys, while Coyne will play bass. The two will be backed by Nashville psych-rock band Linear Downfall. The limited edition record will also be pressed on purple dayglo vinyl.
