Puddle of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin arrested at Denver airport ahead of show

Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin has had many run-ins with the law over the years, including arrests for several of his controversial acts. On 16 January, 2015 Scantlin was arrested in a Denver airport for riding on the baggage carousel and ending up in the restricted area.

Denver promoter Rock Panther Presents announced the arrest on their Facebook page, stating that they were trying to get Scantlin released from jail in time to make their scheduled performance. Unfortunately that wasn’t possible and the show ran late as a result.

While dealing with the situation, local acts Lola Black, Horse and Drug Under entertained the crowd, stretching out the evening. Eventually, the singer got out of jail, thanks to a local fan who helped and paid the bail.

Not to blame them, the promoters were not pleased with the events of the day. They issued the following message to their fans. "We apologize too all of those who left early. We hope you enjoyed Lola Black, Horse and Drug Under. Those of you that stayed, we hope you love Puddle of Mudd cause we will NEVER book them again".
