Reunited Babes In Toyland on tour

Before Bikini Kill and the Julie Ruin, before Hole, there was the all female punk trio Babes In Toyland. After eighteen years the band announced in August 2014 that they would be reuniting, touring and possibly recording again. The reuniting members will be from their Fontanelle-era lineup featuring Kat Bjelland (lead vocals and guitar), Lori Barbero (drums) and Michelle Leon (bass).

As of February 2015, the band has booked several shows and they played their first reunion show in Pioneertown, California at Pappy & Harriet's Pioneertown Palace on February 10, 2015. They opened their set with the growling grind of "Jungle Train" from their sophomore album, Fontanelle and followed it up with the pouncing riffs of "He's My Thing" from their debut album Spanking Machine released in 1990.
