Christian extremists vandalize site of French metal festival, Hellfest
Hellfest 2015 is set to start on June 19th in France but apparently a Christian group didn't like the idea so they've broken onto the grounds to spray paint, vandalize and post threats across the camp grounds.
French website www.ouest-france.fr posted the following: "A group of protesters destroyed plants on festival grounds, and even tore trees in half. Additionally, they tagged 'dozens' of entries with messages such as 'Vade Retro Satan' ('Go back Satan'), 'Saint-Michel save us' or 'J-47, the first warning'."
Festival prganizer Ben Barbaud has announced that security will be increased to ensure 24-hour watch over the site and has also appointed a meeting with the mayor and the police.
Big names in the music industry are scheduled to appear in Hellfest such as Slipknot, The Scorpions, and Faith No More, so let's hope everything will go smooth from now on with no further incidents.
